Before coming to Emmaus Road, Kevin was the Teaching Pastor at Calvary in Golden Valley. He also pastored Journey, a next-generation worship community that is simple, engaging, authentic, and untucked. Until the summer of 2006 Kevin was Calvary's Pastor for Children, Youth, and Family, overseeing 45 paid staff ministering to 1200 youth, children, and early childhood students. Prior to Calvary, he was senior editor for adult nonfiction at Bethany House Publishers. And he pastored a group of more than 400 sixth through ninth graders at Elmbrook Church in metro Milwaukee. Kevin is the author or co-author of more than 40 books and study Bibles for youth and adults. His training includes an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary and a B.A. in English and Print Journalism from the University of WisconsinRiver Falls. We are excited to welcome Kevin, his wife Lyn, along with their kids Nate, Karin and Elise into the Emmaus community.
