Children

Children are a huge part of the Emmaus Road Church community. In The Nest, your child(ren) will have fun learning about Christ in a safe environment with committed volunteers. It is our desire to journey together with parents and families to learn and live out the ways of Jesus Christ. Each age-appropriate classroom is staffed with adults and student helpers who model a strong personal relationship with God. The Nest is provided during our Sunday Worship Gatherings for all children ages Birth – Grade 3.

The Nest is not simply childcare. We believe that our time with your children is valuable, and we use it as an opportunity to have an impact on their lives for the sake of Christ.

Chickadees (Birth-age 3)

A place where we introduce even the littlest ones to Jesus through Bibles Stories, songs, music, prayer, and more.

Robins (ages 3-5)

An opportunity for your child to learn Biblical truths through large and small group activities, storytelling, crafts, songs and more.

Cardinals (Kindergarden-Grade 3)

The Cardinals begin the morning worshipping with their parent(s) and are dismissed mid-service for age-appropriate teaching. Classroom time also includes opportunities for the students to pray together and for one another.

Students in Grades 4-12 are encouraged to worship with their parent(s) on Sunday mornings. Age appropriate Small Groups meet twice per month for students in Grades 4-12. These Small Groups provide opportunities for students to learn about God and the Bible. Groups are led by trained adults who model a strong personal relationship with God.
