Our life lived in Christ compels us to serve our neighbors, both across the street and around the world. Church was never intended to be the drop-off site of the gospel. Rather, we receive the gospel so that God's will may be done on earth as it is in heaven - to love others, to give a cup of water to the thirsty, to put God on display with our words and actions.
It is our hope and dream to be a community of people living out the way of Jesus Christ through…
...beauty: the Scriptures reveal that true beauty is found as we live in Christ. Our eyes are opened. Our lives are transformed. We become “the righteousness of God”. We see and experience the beautiful life God intended.
...story: central to our community is the sharing of our stories, the rhythm of God’s grace moving and growing in our lives. In this, we lovingly reject pretense and embrace an authenticity that reflects God’s nature and lifts up His Name.
...renewal: God is working to renew and restore the world around us. Every day He calls people and communities to join Him in that effort. Acts 3:21 (link)
...journey: following Jesus more of a journey than a destination. This means being fully present, not becoming overly consumed with the guilt of the past or the fear of the future. We often talk about our faith in God, but what about His faith in us? God is with us in this journey and strengthens us for each step. Jeremiah 31:34 (link)
