I'm New to Emmaus Road
getting connected to a caring community

At Emmaus Road, we are big believers that we were created for relationships. In the opening pages of the Scriptures, God shares that it is not good for humanity to be alone. It’s quite easy to understand church simply as a “Sunday service”. Author Lauren Winner shares that “(the church) isn’t language that lends itself easily to individualism…it is utterly communal.”

On Sundays, there are many easy ways to get to know others. You can volunteer to serve on a ministry team like set-up, ushers, or children’s teacher. Or, try hanging out in our the cafe after our worship gathering with Caribou coffee, a donut and informal conversation.

During the week, our community gathers in various groups and get-togethers, from Life Groups (small groups) to Dinner & Movie Nights; from broomball to Bible Study. If you’re interested in information on places where you can connect, you can email us or call our office at 952/935-4112.
