I'm New to Emmaus Road
opportunities for children

The Nest is happy you have chosen to join us! We desire to come alongside parents and families in their attempt to develop a spiritual foundation that leads a child into a dynamic relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

In order to provide the most effective environment for your child, The Nest is age-appropriate and staffed with warm, caring, and supportive adults and student helpers who model a strong personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The Nest is provided at our Sunday Worship Gatherings for all children ages birth to Sixth Grade.

Chickadees (Birth-36 Months)

A loving and caring atmosphere for your infant. A place where we introduce even the littlest ones to Jesus (including Bible stories, music, finger-plays, and more).

Robins (3-5 Years)

An opportunity for your child to learn biblical truths through large and small group activities, storytelling, crafts, songs, and more. Focus is placed on building relationships with peers and adult leaders.

Cardinals (K-Grade 3)

A setting where we concentrate on the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the students by learning biblical truths and concepts through a variety of biblical lessons, activities, and more. Focus is placed on building relationships with peers and adult leaders.

Eagles (Grades 4-6)

A setting where students are challenged to learn biblical truths and concepts through a variety of Bible lessons and activities while focusing on the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the students. Focus is placed on building relationships with peers and adult leaders.

Your Involvement Matters

Parental/family involvement enhances the experience your child has at The Nest. It also enables you to acquaint yourself with class format and content, as well as help facilitate friendships with other children. Serving in The Nest is a great opportunity to form relationships with other parents as we place great importance on developing a sense of community. We encourage all parents to actively participate in The Nest.
