Do you need winter clothing? A microwave? Groceries? Whatever your need may be, big or small, Emmaus Road is here to help. Jesus taught how to give freely without questions or entitlements. There are many examples of how Jesus and his disciples gave to the poor, in Acts 4:32 is shows how, “all the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.” That’s what we would like to do here at Emmaus Road. We have set up a “Needs Sheet” for any and all needs we might have in our church community. There are “Need Cards” at the greeting table to fill out with a need for yourself or someone you may know. Also, the contact cards featured in the Weekly can be filled out and dropped in the offering baskets. This will be an anonymous process and everything will be kept confidential. If you have any questions, a need, or something to donate, please contact Angie Garn at angiegarn@gmail.com. Gas and grocery cards will always be a great donation. If for some reason, we cannot use your donation in our church community we will reach out to the Hopkins and St. Louis Park community.   Current Needs Gift Cards   We are currently collecting gas and grocery gift cards to meet the needs we come across. We would like to be prepared for an emergency situation or a need that requires a gift card. We will be collecting them as people are led to give, so they can be distributed at the time of the need. Needs Fund   We have a fund that is strictly for needs within our community. If you would like to donate to this fund please make a note on your check or offering envelope for "Needs Fund".
